New Magic Screen roller blinds

January 18th, 2012 in All About Blinds

Could it be magic? It most certainly is!

These Magic Screen roller blinds feature an innovative polyscreen fabric that cleverly allows you to see out but no-one to see in. How good is that? These blinds are a wonderful and easy solution to over-looked rooms or rooms next to busy streets.

Magic Screens are available in a range of contemporary and neutral colours so there’s bound to be a colour to suit your decor.

As well as keeping things private the magic blinds have plenty of other features too:

  • Wipe clean finish
  • Bacteria and fungi resistant
  • Fire retardant
  • UV and glare reducing
  • Virtually waterproof

The combination of all these features makes these blinds ideal for sunny rooms, particularly if television or computer screens need to be viewed. Also perfect for kitchens and bathrooms.

These thoroughly modern blinds are a little like a net curtain in that when the lights in a room are switched on the blind becomes see-through. If night-time or evening privacy is important just team these blinds with a roman blind or a pair of curtains.

  1. Blinds look interesting, can you tell me if they are suitable for conservatories which gets the midday sun? If you have a brochure would appreciate it you could forward one on to:- (Address hidden)

    • Hi Mrs Summers, these blinds are suitable for this. If you have a contact telephone number we can give you a call to discuss further. Alternatively, give us a call on 0800 862 0464 and we’ll be happy to help.

    • Good afternoon Maureen. We’ve had a word with our blinds experts and all of the magic screens should do the job just fine. If you want to discuss this any further, feel free to give us a quick call on 0800 8620464 where our excellent team are always happy to help.

    • Hi there Irene, the image is a general illustration of how much you’d be able to see it (not at all in the day) and would be how the Magic Screen Black might look.
The blind will look the same colour as it does from the inside.

  2. These blinds are brilliant…………we have them in our holiday let and at home………..and will defo order more!

  3. I’m looking for blinds like banks have you can see out but peope cannot see in livingroom window size 89 3/4 w × 63 3/4 L and bedroom 52 W × 34 L

    • Absolutely Rebecca, that’s what makes them so magical! It’s like having a voile, without people being able to peep in your house.

  4. I’m looking for two different size window shades. To install on outside window. I want to see out but no one can see it. One has to be 63 inches Long 55 inches wide the other one has to be 66 inches wide and 55 inches long. I like to have it in the light tan I’m just looking cannot find what I want do you have any ideas or could you help me?

  5. I’m very interested in these blinds because my sitting room gets the sun in it for 7 hours a day – and it’s only March. I appreciate they will protect furnishings from the UV rays but do they also keep out the heat as some sunscreen blinds do?

    Many thanks for your help.

    • Hi Ann! The main benefit of these are to stop the UV rays coming through, but as they help shade your home, you might find the home to feel a little cooler too. It’s not something we’ve investigated, but please let us know if you find that they do!

  6. I have some French doors in 2 bedrooms that open onto Juliet balconies which overlook a very pretty but busy London street.
I need some ‘magic blinds’ to provide daytime privacy.
Do you provide a measuring/fitting service?
    Thank you

  7. Do these blinds provide privacy at night time? So if I were sitting in my room with the lights on, and it’s dark outside, would people be able to see in? Thank you!
