How do you know whether the fabric on screen is the perfect shade of purple for your home? What is the difference between those shades of white? Do you sometimes wish you could have a closer look at the materials before you place an order? Well, that’s what Linda wanted to know too…
Linda Asked:
“I’ve got some old roman blinds that need replacing but I want the same colour, is there any chance you could send me some cuttings of the red fabrics you use so I can try to match them?”
We Answered:
Of course we can!
Both Blinds 2go and Curtains 2go offer a free sample service for you so you can take a closer look at patterns, textures and the materials themselves to make sure you’re 100% happy with your purchase.
Order up to ten samples at a time free of charge or pay a £2.99 postage fee for up to 20 – that should be more than enough for you to sink your teeth into but if not, you’re more than welcome to come back for more 🙂
We don’t just offer samples of the fabrics either – if you’ve got your eye on a wooden blind, we can even send you a cutting of the slat size you’re interested in!
It’s a great way to get a real feel for the fabric you choose and make sure that it’s the perfect choice for your home.
Which side of the sample is the front? The one with the sticker on or the other side without the sticker?
Hi Sarah, the sticker should be on the front of the sample. If you’re still unsure, give our team a call on 0800 862 0464.
How do I order samples? Have white wooden blinds upstairs and want matching ones downstairs
Hi there! It’s easy, just click on the product and on the following page scroll down below where you enter the measurements to order, you’ll see the option to order a free sample.
Are the fabric samples identical to the blinds themselves or will the actual blinds have some sort of backing material etc to make them a bit thicker?
Hi Duncan, that depends on what type of blinds you’re ordering. If you’re looking at the blind in question (on the screen where you enter the measurements) and it’s asking which type of lining you’d like to order, then that blind will arrive with the selected lining added to the back of the fabric. Samples for our Roman blinds and curtains don’t include lining as standard, but they all come with lining options unless they’re described as unlined, voile/sheer, or self-lined. Hope that helps!
