Your Guide to Designer Blinds

July 13th, 2016 in All About Blinds
Who doesn’t love a bit of designer in their life? A nice watch, a new handbag or an exorbitantly priced pair of shoes. There’s nothing wrong with introducing a bit of glamour into your life, after all designer brands tend to do it best!

The only thing that can be off-putting is the cost and that’s where we come in. We don’t stand for massive price tags, even if it does lead to great designs. No, what we prefer is designer style at permanently low prices. And guess what? That’s what we’ve got!

Scion Living

Scion are a mere fledgling when it comes to the design world but they make up for it with flair and some big designs! Mr Fox is taking over the world and he’s being accompanied by other cutting edge designs that are uniquely Scion.

What should I do with them?

Whichever Scion you choose, not only will it give you a modern feel, it will become an integral part of your room. They can’t fail to steal the show, so you could pack your home with lots of pattern (see our eclectic guide below) or simply let the blind take centre stage and surround it with plain colours in the same palette.Scion Living Button

Sanderson HOME

In contrast to Scion, Sanderson are one of the oldest design houses around but their Sanderson HOME range is new and updated for the modern home. These designs still retain some classic charm but hang them at your window and you can never be accused of being old fashioned.

What should I do with them?

Neutrals and pastels tend to dominate Sanderson HOME designs so you’ll probably want to hang them somewhere open, airy and serene. That means soft furnishings and delicate palettes. This is all about bringing traditional design into the 21st century so a few vintage accessories wouldn’t go amiss either.

That’s right, we have our very own head of design don’t you know. We’ve got plenty of patterns that are exclusive to us, you won’t find them anywhere else. And, though we do say so ourselves, some of them are pretty darn good. We like to cater to all tastes so you’ll find everything from patterned faux silk to Splash PVC bathroom blinds.

What should I do with them?

It really depends what your needs are. Our Arboretum Linen blinds make for fabulous country lounges while our Splash Seagulls roller blind is ideal for your bathroom as it’s waterproof. A simple Cardigan Stripe roman blind is our most popular design and your little princess will swoon over a Baby Bunting roller blind with a free blackout backing as standard. Trust us, there’s a blind for all your varying tastes.
