OurOak’s New Build Home

August 30th, 2016 in All About Blinds

Recently ouroak set their Instagram page from private to public and with the change our eyes changed to love hearts ( just like this-  😍 ). And there was no way that we could let the photos sit there without an even wider audience. So a few Instagram messages and emails later, here we are with one heck of a home to share with you.

The best part is, it’s completely achievable. It’s a fairly neutral setting, but is by no means boring, so even the colour-phobes can jump on this one!

So kick back, relax and join us as we journey through this beautiful home…

Our names are Natalie and Jonathan and we moved into our new build 4 bedroom house in January.

Our style is simple and minimalistic with a Scandinavian influence and boho feel. (Check out the throw below!!)

With many windows to contend with we found Blinds 2go had everything we were looking for.

We love how much greenery is dotted around the home. There’s at least one plant in just about every room!

The blinds fit in great with the modern decor we have gone with. (The couple have nailed practicality too!)

The free samples got sent out so quickly it really helped me to make a decision and see what the colours are like in the actual room.

Next to order are some natural linen curtains for the second bedroom which is in the process of getting a make over as we speak.

We can’t wait to see what they do with this room. Having a sneak peek on instagram, they’ve gone for a super cute pom pom garland around the bed frame that looks completely gorgeous!

You can follow Natalie & Jonathan’s journey on their instagram. Just search ouroak.

Whether you’re making over just the one room or a whole home, we’d love to feature even more of your makeovers. Get in touch either in the comments section below or on our social channels to get involved.

When I'm not writing posts for the Blinds 2go blog, you can find me getting inspiration from other bloggers and interior design magazines. I also love using Pinterest and Houzz to get plenty of inspiration too!
