Get Organised – Make Up Madness

June 29th, 2014 in Home Improvement

There’s nothing worse than rummaging through your make up bag, looking for that specific lipstick and not being able to find it anywhere. It’s not in your handbag, it’s not in your room… It’s just disappeared!

Even worse are those times when you need that certain shade of eyeshadow that goes oh-so-perfectly with your outfit… But you just can’t quite put your hand on it!

Obviously it really doesn’t help when your make-up looks like this…

So today’s organisation inspiration comes in the form of make-up magnet boards- a stylish and easy way to keep all your make-up neat, tidy and to hand in an instant.

All you need in order to complete this task is a magnetic board- any colour, shape or size will do, depending on what you prefer, although I did find this scalloped pink board rather eye-catching (you can take a closer look at it by clicking right here)- and a handful of magnets that can be picked up from loads of online retailers as well as from local hardware stores

Attach the magnets to the back or side of your products using hot glue (watch your fingers!) or double sided sticky pads.

To avoid any confusion, when you’re attaching the magnets to the backs/sides of your make up, try not to cover up any of the product names- this will make it a lot easier when selecting the right make up for you and also when it comes to restocking!

As soon as the glue has dried (if you’ve gone for the hot glue option, rather than the sticky pads) you can start arranging your board!

There’s no right or wrong way to organise it, it really is entirely up to you! So hat are you waiting for? Not only will this great idea help keep all your make up neat and organised, it will also fill your time a little and give you something fun to do on a rainy day.
