Best blinds for a bedroom

November 8th, 2012 in All About Blinds

What best to hang at a bedroom window? Generally people want to keep their bedrooms as dark as possible as well as creating a cosy and inviting space.  Blinds with blackout linings will block the sun from a bedroom and blinds with thermal properties will help to keep things nice and warm.

We’ve chosen some great bedroom blinds below but they really are just a tiny selection of the huge number available. To see the complete selection take a look at our blackout blinds and thermal blinds. Plus, all our roman blinds (except the voiles) can be made with a blackout lining. Wooden blinds with tapes are also worth considering as the cotton tape reduces the amount of light entering through the cord holes.

A final consideration for the bedroom is whether the blind fits inside or outside the window recess as this will effect the amount of light that enters around the side of the blind.
