Each individual slat tells its own story with a unique grain and colour tone; the variation from slat to slat gives each and every blind a very different look from the next. The colour differentiation, as well as knots and graining are what makes these blinds so distinctive and attractive.
Basswood vs. Real Wood
In case you were wondering? All our wooden blinds are of course made from real wood. The wooden blinds from the other collections are generally made from basswood that is then expertly stained to look like other woods. The colour of these blinds tends to be more consistent across the individual slats and this may be important to you if you have more than one blind in a room for example. Take a look at our Soho, Natural, Sundown and Wood Impressions collections if you want more colour consistency than real wood can offer.
Wooden blinds made from trees such as cedar and ash are normally much more expensive than basswood blinds but do offer a different look. We have our buying department to thank for being able to sell these blinds at such a special price.
