‘Go’ Patchwork with Blinds 2go

August 17th, 2013 in Trends

Wondering what to do with those old scraps of fabric? Put them to good use and create funky patchwork designs for just about anything!  A far cry from granny’s old quilts, patchwork fashion is really on trend. This traditional style is bold, bright and wonderfully quirky.

We’re so inspired, we’ve used some of our existing designs to put together our very own patchwork blind!

About the author

I'm the newest member of the blinds 2go blog team. I've been really enjoying researching and hunting some amazing things to post! I love books (read The Road by Cormac McCarthy, you won't regret it!), pigs (oink oink!) and drinking tea (who doesn't?!). The quirky things in life make me happy and I really love everything about the colour red.

  1. Hi, I’m really keen to make a patchwork roller blind (I have so many gorgeous fabrics and I don’t know which to choose!!), but have a couple of questions. Do the seams from sewing the patchwork affect the ability of the blind to roll up smoothly? And, did you stiffen this blind or was it not necessary??

    • Good afternoon Miranda, unfortunately we didn’t actually make a physical blind, just a mockup on the computer. I’m sure a quick post on a sewing forum will get you your answers in no time 🙂
