Feature chairs transform a room

July 21st, 2009 in Home Improvement

Feature chairs make an amazing impact. They can transform an otherwise neutral room into something of a talking point. You can’t underestimate their ‘sit-factor’ too! I have a traditional wicker chair in the corner of my kitchen. I’ve updated it with a couple of cushions (a very very fluffy one plus a Chinese silk), placed a large vase of ‘twiggy things’ next to it. Voila! My very own corner of peace and tranquility. Please enjoy these lovely images.

We’re ‘designery’ types at Blinds 2go. Just check out the feature chairs in one of our meeting rooms. The chairs are an amazing luminescent purple, extremely comfortable to sit and are also rockable. What more could you ask for really? You can buy the same chairs from bluesuntree. The meeting room is a favourite place of ours to discuss all things blinds. We have bespoke art on the walls (complete with blinds 2go logo) plus a bespoke meeting table. The table is a unique design made for us by Paul at Quad.

We also have a great photography studio where our resident photographer and stylist Gwen, spends hours putting up blinds and accessorising them. She’s quite partial to a feature chair too! Just have a look …

My home is my passion, I love to search for inspiration on decorating ideas, tips and hints for keeping things clean and tidy and great recipes to try out. When I'm not trawling through Pinterest or the Blogosphere, you can find me outside, usually running around with my dogs- I'm not sure which of us enjoy the walks more!
