These designs from Sarah-Jayne Guest are simply eye-popping and superb!

The British designer has the mantra ‘Imagination will often carry us to places that never were’ and her colourful textile designs really are a sight to behold. Take a look at Sarah’s website for lots of floral designs as well as Ercol furniture updated with wonderful bright and cheerful textiles.

It was the Squirrel in the Log that caught my eye then I just had to find out what else Qualy did. The Thai based design company produce a whole range of brightly coloured functional ‘stuff’. Love it, love it, love it! (All of it….)

National Doodle Day :: how do you do yours?

For me it’s a star or a flower but I do vaguely remember having a thing for 3D boxes … Today is National Doodle Day in aid of people whose lives are affected by epilepsy.

It has to be said that here in the Blinds 2go office we are treated are like Kings and Queens! We have a couple of very skilled bakers in the office who keep us supplied with a steady stream of home baked goodies. This week saw mini muffins with chocolate frosting and silver sprinkles plus raisin cookies while the week before it was chocolate chip cookies, with a choice of white or milk chocolate!

In honour of our resident bakers here’s a baking related post, and is by no means a request for chocolate covered doughnuts or mini pantone cookies!
