New blinds :: New England wooden blinds

Wooden blinds just got big! Our New England collection features a lovely 64mm slat, it’s the biggest slat size that we do and it makes a fantastic impact at the window. We’ve called it New England because it really does echo the look and feel of the plantation shutters that are so popular in the region.

The wider slats ensure that the when the blind is open the view to the outside is maximised and of course the larger gaps also allow the light to flood in. We have four wood colors to choose from, two painted options plus a mid wood colour (Golden Oak) and then a darker wood (American Walnut).

Click though to view the New England wooden blinds or our entire collection of wooden blinds.

Don’t forget we offer a world-class sample service, get your free samples the very next day.

New blinds :: Broadway wooden blinds

Our Broadway wooden blind collection is very special, each of the solid wood core slats is finished to perfection with a stunning deep grain veneer plus they’re exceptional quality with added strength and durability.

We have added three new woods to the collection and each of them are stunning. The Birch and Hemlock slats keep it very light at the window while the Hickory has a little more colour depth.

See here :: Birch, Hickory and Hemlock

Birch

This blind really works a washed-out look, the slats are light cream with an almost chalky finish, ideal for a room where you want to maximise the light.

Hickory

You want mid-brown? Then choose Hickory, its warm brown tone has enough depth to look luxurious but still light enough not to over-power.

Hemlock

Hemlock keeps it light and cool at the window, the slats are straw coloured with a grain of darker sand running through. A fantastic light coloured blind with gorgeous grain detail.

New blinds :: Soho wooden blinds with cotton tapes

Wooden blinds with cotton tapes are one of the nicest blinds that there are (IMHO). The tape adds undeniable style as well as softness and a luxurious feel.

On a slightly more boring note the tape hides the cord strings, the holes are hidden too so that when the blind is closed less light peeps through.

We’ve selected popular blinds from our Soho range and our design team have selected a co-ordinating cotton tape that perfectly complements the slat.

New blinds :: Manhattan Gloss Wooden blinds

These new gloss blinds will be a fantastic treat for any room!

Gloss blinds cleverly have the warmth of wood but a lacquer surface finish that reflects light giving a brighter look at the window. In a kitchen these blinds are so practical, any water spots or greasy marks are easy to wipe clean from the reflective surface leaving a blind that always looks fresh and new.

And just when you thought it couldn’t get any better! These blinds have 50mm wide slats. The great benefit of having a wider slat is that more light’s let in and the view to the outside is clearer.

Take a look at the entire range of Manhattan Wooden Blinds which includes the three new gloss blinds as well as some natural wood colours.

PS – demand for these blinds has been phenomenal so at the moment there is a 3-4 week delivery time, so order them right this minute to have them as quick as possible.

Blinds 2go top picks :: Walnut Hardwood Blind with Tapes

We have something very exciting that will be happening at Blinds 2go soon! In order to do said exciting thing I will be otherwise engaged this week, so it’s over to the rest of the team this week and their favourite blinds. I hope you enjoy their selection.

It’s the Walnut Hardwood Blind with Tapes that’s a favourite with a certain member of our team, in his words,

We feature plenty of new and contemporary blinds but you can’t beat the substantial appearance of a traditional wooden blind with the taped finish. I’ve actually got these in my own home.
