Blinds 2go Winter Warming Tips 5/5

December 11th, 2013 in Home Improvement

For our final winter warming tip we’ve gone all traditional – a pair of thick and cosy curtains. Not only do they keep the warmth in and the cold out, you can use vibrant coloured fabrics to create a warm and comforting design scheme to match.

The thicker the fabric the more heat they will retain and if you choose to add a blackout lining too – even better! It’s all about layers, layers, layers.

So choosing a warm neutral like Berber warm grey or something even brighter like Smooth Sisal burnt ochre will tick all the boxes and ensure your home looks and feels cosy all winter long.

About the author

I'm the newest member of the blinds 2go blog team. I've been really enjoying researching and hunting some amazing things to post! I love books (read The Road by Cormac McCarthy, you won't regret it!), pigs (oink oink!) and drinking tea (who doesn't?!). The quirky things in life make me happy and I really love everything about the colour red.
