Blinds 2go Homes

September 5th, 2016 in All About Blinds

Now if there’s one person who has an eye for good design, surely it has to be our Head of Design, Leah. You might have seen her face in your sample pack, or even in magazines such as Style at Home, but today, we have access to her lovely home, to see just how she decorates it.

So come on in as we take a tour….

The Lounge

living-room-2

Wooden Blind: Dark Laurel

How wonderful is the natural scheme in this lounge? Green is Leah’s favourite colour (we’d have a website full of just green if she had her way in every design meeting), and the addition of dark woods makes for a perfect pairing.

Who’s joining us for chilling on the armchair with a book in one hand and a glass of red in the other?

The WC

Roman Blind: Cardigan Stripe Blue Horizon

We might be miles away from the sea here in the Midlands, but Leah has mastered the nautical vibe. Plus the Cardigan Stripe roman blind is one of her own designs! Might as well show off your own creations, right?

The Office

Roman Blind: Harlow Woven Grey

Of course every designer needs a creative space to scribble done all of those ideas. Thankfully this office carries all of her creative spirit, and her love of whacky wallpaper. (Insider info: her bedroom has the same wallpaper that the Carter’s had in the lounge of the Queen Vic – yes the crazy parrots one!)

The Landing

Roman Blind: Delphin Pewter

Leah is one well travelled woman, and this certainly shows in her home. Each wall, window sill, shelf is decorated with trinkets of her travels, from Vietnam to Cambodia and Australia to name a few. The stairway and landing pay homage to all of these places, with the soft roman blind and wall colour tying them altogether.

The Bathroom

Faux Wood Blind: Satin Pure White & White

And finally we have the bathroom, which is another serene space. The tiles add pattern, whilst the white faux wood blind keeps the bathroom feeling light. There’s a great collection of textures in here too, from the wash basket, to the soft tapes of the blind.
